When cars were cars and men, well, what can I say!

Real Cars, thanks to El Greco for the link..

When I was young, circa 1962, my dad drove a 1956 Buick Roadmaster. My Grandfather drove a 1957 Bel Air that he purchased brand new and drove and maintained until he passed away in 1969 at the age of 69. The car looked the same as it did when he bought. it Two months later a cousin, who had inherited the car totaled it by wrapping it around a tree. The last car my dad owned was a 1963 Chevy Impala. I sold it for him when he had to move back to Oregon to undergo treatment for cancer. I should have bought it for myself..
