Wind bag Paul Barford bloviates as usual on illegally imported coins. It is a tedious read by a tedious individual trained in the fine art of self-centered blather. I can only imagine that his mommy must have not let him collect rocks. If his motives were not so about him then one could take him more seriously, because he attempts to address what is a serious problem, the pillage of archaeological sites around the world. Unfortunately he is fixated on coin collectors and blames us almost entirely for the destruction of archaeological sites, which is not the case. One only has to take a look at England to see the benefits of the government working with collectors and metal detectorists. Barford is a member of the Ivory Tower crowd that believes that only those that have the fortune of being chosen are allowed to participate in the gathering of knowledge - kind of like Obama!!! HUMMMMMMMM! Read the entire piece if you can keep from gagging.
